The misunderstanding might arise because accountability is often emphasized in training and leadership within the Army context as essential for effective operation and team cohesion. However, it does not appear in the fundamental list that defines the Army Values. Thus, recognizing the distinction between widely advocated attributes like accountability and the codified Army Values is crucial for understanding the framework of soldier ethics and conduct.
